أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ قَالَتْ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَسْأَلَهُ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْهَدْيِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «عَلَى الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ وَعَلَى الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كَانَتْ أَمْ إِنَاثًا»

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ at al-Ḥudaybiyah asking him about the meat of the sacrificial animals, and I heard him say: "Upon the boy there are two sheep, and upon the girl one sheep. It will not harm you whether they are male or female."
