al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 4511

✧ Interpretation of the Saying of Allah, Exalted is His Praise: "And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned" [Surah al-An'am: 121].

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ أَبِي وَكِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {§وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ} [الأنعام 121] قَالَ «خَاصَمَهُمُ الْمُشْرِكُونَ» قَالُوا مَا ذَبَحَ اللهُ لَا تَأْكُلُوهُ وَمَا ذَبَحْتُمْ أَنْتُمْ أَكَلْتُمُوهُ

Translation
