✧ The sacrifices of the Jews

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ

دُلِّيَ جِرَابٌ مِنْ شَحْمٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ لَا أُعْطِي أَحَدًا مِنْهُ شَيْئًا فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَبَسَّمُ

Translation

✧ A bag of fat was lowered on the day of Khaybar, so I clung to it and said: I will not give anyone anything from it. Then I turned, and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiling.
