✧ The merit of someone who prepares a warrior

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَّفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا»

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, “Whoever equips a warrior in the path of Allah has indeed gone on the campaign, and whoever looks after a warrior's family well behind him has indeed gone on the campaign.”
