أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَمْ يَنْوِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever goes on a military expedition in the way of Allah and intends nothing but a hobble cord, he will have what he intended."
