✧ The Virtue of Jihad in the Path of Allah

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللهِ عَوْنُهُ الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَالنَّاكِحُ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ الْعَفَافَ وَالْمُكَاتَبُ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ الْأَدَاءَ

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Three are all truly entitled to Allah's help: the one striving in the path of Allah, the one marrying for chastity, and the slave with a contract to purchase his freedom who intends to pay."
