أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَشْهَبُ أَنَّ مَالِكًا حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ وَهِشَامَ بْنَ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَاهُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
«خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ فَطَافَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ حَلُّوا ثُمَّ طَافُوا طَوَافًا آخَرَ بَعْدَ أَنْ رَجَعُوا مِنْ مِنًى لِحَجِّهِمْ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَانُوا جَمَعُوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَإِنَّمَا طَافُوا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ يَقُلْ أَحَدٌ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ غَيْرُ أَشْهَبَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

✧ "We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the Farewell Ḥajj, and we arrived in Makkah. Those who had entered iḥrām for ʿUmrah circumambulated the House and between al-Ṣafā and al-Marwah, then they exited iḥrām. Then they performed another ṭawāf after they returned from Minā for their Ḥajj. As for those who had combined Ḥajj and ʿUmrah, they performed only one ṭawāf." Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān said, "No one reported this from Mālik, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, except Ashhab, and Allah knows best."
