أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ جَعْفَرَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ كَانَ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تِسْعًا قَائِمًا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى يُؤَذِّنَ بِالْأَوَّلِ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»

✧ That he heard Aisha say: The Prophet of God ﷺ used to pray every night thirteen rak'ahs: nine standing, and two rak'ahs while sitting. Then he would pause until the first call of the morning was given, then he would get up and pray two rak'ahs.
