أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» فَقَالَ يَعْنِي فِي الرَّابِعَةِ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said, "May Allah have mercy on those who shave." He said, meaning in the fourth time, "And those who shorten."
