أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَقْبَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ

عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ دَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ يَعْنِي بِالشِّعْبِ بَالَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَلَمْ يُسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ فَقُلْتُ الصَّلَاةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «الصَّلَاةُ أَمَامَكَ فَرَكِبَ حَتَّى جَاءَ يَعْنِي الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ نَزَلَ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ أَنَاخَ كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ بَعِيرَهُ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ ثُمَّ أُقِيمَتِ الْعِشَاءُ فَصَلَّاهَا وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ بَيْنَهُمَا شَيْئًا»

Translation

✧ From Usamah b. Zayd, he heard him say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed from ʿArafah until when he was at the mountain pass, he urinated then performed ablution but did not complete it thoroughly. I said, “The prayer, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “The prayer is ahead of you.” He rode until he came to Muzdalifah, dismounted, performed ablution and completed it thoroughly. Then the iqamah was called for prayer, and he prayed Maghrib. Then each person made his camel kneel at his resting place. Then the iqamah was called for ʿIshaʾ and he prayed it, and he did not pray anything between them.
