✧ Walking between Safa and Marwa

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْمَكِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلُوا ابْنَ عُمَرَ هَلْ رَأَيْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَمَلَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «كَانَ فِي جَمَاعَةِ النَّاسِ فَرَمَلُوا فَلَا أَرَاهُمْ رَمَلُوا إِلَّا بِرَمَلِهِ»

✧ They asked Ibn ʿUmar, 'Did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walk quickly between Safa and Marwa?' He said, 'He was among a group of people, so they walked quickly. I do not think they walked quickly except because of his quick walking.'
