أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الصَّفَا وَقَالَ نَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللهُ بِهِ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللهِ} [البقرة 158]

Translation

  4. Jābir

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to al-Safa and said: We begin with what Allah began with. Then he recited: {Indeed, al-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah} [al-Baqarah 158].
