أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمِصْرِيُّ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأنا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

شَكَوْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنِّي أَشْتَكِي فَقَالَ «طُوفِي وَرَاءَ النَّاسِ وَأَنْتِ رَاكِبَةٌ» فَطُفْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَئِذٍ يُصَلِّي إِلَى جَنْبِ الْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ يُقْرَأُ بِالطُّورِ وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ

✧ I complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I was ill. He said, 'Perform tawaf behind the people while riding.' So I performed tawaf while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying beside the House, reciting 'By the Mount and a Book inscribed.'
