أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي الْقَطَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ هُوَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْبَيْتَ فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَجَافَ الْبَابَ وَالْبَيْتُ إِذْ ذَاكَ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَعْمِدَةٍ فَمَضَى حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَ الْأُسْطُوَانَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ تَلِيَانِ الْبَابَ بَابَ الْكَعْبَةِ جَلَسَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَسَأَلَهُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ حَتَّى أَتَى مَا اسْتَقْبَلَ مِنْ دُبُرِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَوَضَعَ وَجْهَهُ وَخَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَسَأَلَهُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَهُ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى كُلِّ رُكْنٍ مِنْ أَرْكَانِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ وَالتَّهْلِيلِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ وَالثَّنَاءِ عَلَى اللهِ وَالْمَسْأَلَةِ وَالِاسْتِغْفَارِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ وَجْهِ الْكَعْبَةِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَقَالَ «هَذِهِ الْقِبْلَةُ هَذِهِ الْقِبْلَةُ»

✧ He entered the House with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he ordered Bilal to close the door. At that time, the House was on six pillars. He proceeded until he was between the two pillars that are next to the door of the Kaaba, and he sat down. He praised Allah, extolled Him, asked Him, and sought His forgiveness. Then he stood up until he came to what faced him from the rear of the Kaaba, and he placed his face and cheek on it. He praised Allah, extolled Him, asked Him, and sought His forgiveness. Then he went to each corner of the Kaaba, facing it with takbeer, tahleel, tasbeeh, praise of Allah, supplication, and seeking forgiveness. Then he came out and prayed two rak'ahs facing the front of the Kaaba. Then he turned and said, 'This is the qiblah, this is the qiblah.'
