أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ انْتَهَى إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ وَقَدْ دَخَلَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَبِلَالٌ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَأَجَافَ عَلَيْهِمْ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْبَابَ فَمَكَثُوا فِيهَا مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ فَتَحَ الْبَابَ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَرَكِبْتُ الدَّرَجَةَ فَدَخَلْتُ الْبَيْتَ فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ؟ فَقَالُوا هَاهُنَا وَنَسِيتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُمْ كَمْ صَلَّى

✧ He came to the Kaʿbah after the Prophet ﷺ had entered it, along with Bilal and Usamah b. Zayd, and ʿUthman b. Talhah had shut the door upon them. They stayed inside for a long while, then he opened the door and the Prophet ﷺ came out. I climbed the steps and entered the House and said, “Where did the Prophet ﷺ pray?” They said, “Here.” And I forgot to ask them how many units he prayed.
