✧ The Virtue of Prayer in the Sacred Mosque

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say, «A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in any other except the Sacred Mosque.»
