✧ The Killing of the Scorpion

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو قُدَامَةَ السَّرَخْسِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ الْحِدَأَةُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “Five of the animals: there is no sin upon the one who kills them while in iḥrām: the kite, the mouse, the vicious dog, the crow, and the scorpion.”
