The permissibility of canceling Hajj with Umrah for those who have not offered the sacrifice

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ غُنْدَرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْوَارِثِ بْنَ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ «فِي مُتْعَةِ الْحَجِّ لَيْسَتْ لَكُمْ وَلَسْتُمْ مِنْهَا فِي شَيْءٍ إِنَّمَا كَانَتْ رُخْصَةً لَنَا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ»

✧ Abu Dharr said regarding the tamattuʿ of Hajj: “It is not for you, and you have nothing to do with it. It was only a concession for us, the companions of Muhammad ﷺ.”
