أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ مِنْ تَلْبِيَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «لَبَّيْكَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثِقَةٌ خَالَفَهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ

✧ Part of the talbiyah of the Prophet ﷺ was: "Labbaik ilāha al-ḥaqqi." Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān said: I do not know anyone who attributed this hadith with a connected chain except ʿAbd Allah b. al-Faḍl, and ʿAbd Allah b. al-Faḍl is trustworthy. Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah differed from him.
