al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 37

✧ The prohibition for those who have performed ablution to speak

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَخْرُجُ الرَّجُلَانِ عَلَى الْغَائِطِ كَاشِفَيْنِ عَنْ عَوْرَتَيْهِمَا يَتَحَدَّثَانِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَمْقُتُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ»

Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Two men should not go out to defecate, uncovering their private parts and conversing, for Allah is disgusted by that."
