أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ قَالَ أَمَرْتِنِي عَائِشَةُ أَنْ أَكْتُبَ لَهَا مُصْحَفًا
وَقَالَتْ إِذَا بَلَغْتَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ فَآذِنِّي {حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى} [البقرة 238] فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتُهَا آذَنْتُهَا فَأَمْلَتْ عَلَيَّ «حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ» ثُمَّ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ She said: When you reach this verse, inform me: {Guard strictly the prayers, especially the middle prayer} [Al-Baqarah: 238]. When I reached it, I informed her, and she dictated to me: "Guard strictly the prayers, especially the middle prayer and the Asr prayer, and stand before Allah devoutly obedient." Then she said: I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
