✧ The Virtue of Hajj

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ فَقَالَ «الْإِيمَانُ بِاللهِ» قَالَ ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ «ثُمَّ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ» قَالَ ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ «ثُمَّ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ»

✧ A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “O Messenger of Allah, which deeds are best?” He said, “Faith in Allah.” He said, “Then what?” He said, “Then jihad in the way of Allah.” He said, “Then what?” He said, “Then an accepted Hajj.”
