أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ»

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Wahbb. Jarīr from my father
  3. ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr
  4. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAbdullāh from his father

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Insulting a Muslim is wickedness, and fighting him is disbelief."
