أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm
  2. ʿAbdah
  3. Muḥammad b. Isḥāq
  4. al-Zuhrī
  5. Ṭalḥah b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAwf
  6. Saʿīd b. Zayd

ʿwhoever is killed defending his wealth is a martyr.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 590)
