أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَلِيًّا
عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَصَفَ قَالَ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ يُجْعَلُ التَّسْلِيمَ فِي آخِرِ رَكْعَةٍ وَبَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ يُجْعَلُ التَّسْلِيمَ فِي آخِرِ رَكْعَةٍ»

✧ About the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he described it and said: He used to pray four rakʿahs before Dhuhr, making the taslīm at the end of the (fourth) rakʿah, and four rakʿahs after it, making the taslīm at the end of the (fourth) rakʿah.
