قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ لَا يَحِلُّ دَمُ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ إِلَّا ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ التَّارِكُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ مُفَارِقُ الْجَمَاعَةِ وَالثَّيِّبُ الزَّانِي وَالنَّفْسُ بِالنَّفْسِ قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِمِثْلِهِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “By the One besides whom there is no god, the blood of a Muslim man who bears witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah is not lawful except for three persons: the one who abandons Islam and separates from the community, the married adulterer, and a life for a life.” Al-A'mash said: I narrated this to Ibrahim, and he narrated to me from al-Aswad, from 'A'ishah, something similar.
