أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْكَبَائِرُ الشِّرْكُ بِاللهِ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ وَقَوْلُ الزُّورِ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ — and Ishaq b. Ibrahim informed us, saying: al-Nadr b. Shumayl informed us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah b. Abi Bakr, who said: I heard Anas say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The major sins are: associating partners with Allah, disobedience to parents, killing a soul, and false speech.”
