al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 3403

✧ The reward for whoever stands in worship on the Night of Decree with faith and seeking reward, and a discussion of the variations in the narrations of Abu Hurairah's report regarding that.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."
