✧ Postponement of I'tikaf for menstruating women

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَذَكَرَ آخَرُ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُخْرِجُ إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ مُجَاوِرٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ رَوَاهُ هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَهُوَ مُجَاوِرٌ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would put his head out to me from the mosque while he was staying in the mosque, and I would wash it while I was menstruating. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Hisham b. Urwah narrated it but did not mention 'while he was staying in the mosque.'
