أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَأْتِينِي وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَتَّكِئُ عَلَى عَتَبَةِ بَابِ حُجْرَتِي فَأَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ وَأَنَا فِي حُجْرَتِي وَسَائِرُهُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would come to me while he was in i'tikaf in the mosque and lean on the threshold of my room, and I would wash his head while I was in my room and the rest of him was in the mosque.
