✧ About the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: “Which of you can perform the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?” They said: “We would like to know it.” He said: “When the sun had passed its zenith—that is, from its rising by the measure of a spear or two spears, like the measure of the Asr prayer from its setting—the Prophet of Allah ﷺ would pray two rak'ahs. Then he would wait until the forenoon had risen, and he would pray four rak'ahs. Then he would wait until the sun had declined, and he would pray four rak'ahs before Zuhr at the time the sun declines. When he had prayed Zuhr, he would pray two rak'ahs after it, and before Asr four rak'ahs. That is sixteen rak'ahs.”
