أَخْبَرَنِي قُرَيْشُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ الْمُقَفَّعُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَبَضَ عَلَى لِحْيَتِهِ فَقَطَعَ مَا زَادَ عَلَى الْكَفِّ
وَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ قَالَ «ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ»
