✧ The ruling on abandoning prayer and mentioning the differences regarding it.

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَعَلَّكُمْ سَتُدْرِكُونَ أَقْوَامًا يُصَلُّونَ الصَّلَاةَ لِغَيْرِ وَقْتِهَا فَإِذَا أَدْرَكْتُمُوهُمْ فَصَلَّوَا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَصَلَّوْا مَعَهُمْ وَاجْعَلُوهَا سُبْحَةً»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Perhaps you will encounter people who pray the prayer at other than its time. If you encounter them, then pray the prayer at its time and pray with them, and make it a supererogatory prayer.”
