أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُبَارَكِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ نِسَائِهِ غَيْرَ احْتِلَامٍ فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيُتِمُّ صَوْمَهُ» خَالَفَهُ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would sometimes begin the morning in a state of major ritual impurity from his wives, not from a wet dream, then he would perform the full ablution and complete his fast. Abu al-Zubair disagreed with him.
