أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ فَيَّاضٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عِيَاضٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صُمْ يَوْمًا مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ وَلَكَ أَجْرُ مَا بَقِيَ»

Translation

  6. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Fast one day of the beginning of the month, and you will have the reward of what remains."
