أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدٌ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ يَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ فَقَالَ «لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ»

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when a man who fasted the entire time was mentioned in his presence, say: 'He neither fasted nor broke his fast.'
