أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَتَحَرَّى الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسَ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ مَا يُشْبِهُ حَدِيثَ مَنْصُورٍ يُشْبِهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَتَى مِنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to purposely seek out Monday and Thursday. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is a rejected hadith. It does not resemble the hadith of Mansur. It seems likely that it came from Abu Dawud.
