أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَاوِحٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ حَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا يَصُومُ أَأَصُومُ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ «إِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَفْطِرْ»

✧ He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he was a man who fasted, 'Should I fast while traveling?' He said, "If you wish, fast; and if you wish, break the fast."
