أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجَاءُ بْنُ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ مُرْنِي بِأَمْرٍ آخُذُهُ عَنْكَ قَالَ «عَلَيْكَ بِالصَّوْمِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا مِثْلَ لَهُ»

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Command me with a matter that I may take from you." He said, "Adhere to fasting, for it has no equal."
