أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا سَوَادَةُ بْنُ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ وَلَا هَذَا الْبَيَاضُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الْفَجْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا» يَعْنِي مُعْتَرِضًا قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فَبَسَطَ يَدَيْهِ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا مَادًّا يَدَيْهِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let not the adhan of Bilal deceive you, nor this whiteness, until the dawn breaks like this and like this," meaning horizontally. Abu Dawud said: He spread his hands right and left, extending his hands.
