أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ قَالَ

قُلْنَا لِحُذَيْفَةَ أَيُّ سَاعَةٍ تَسَحَّرْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «هُو النَّهَارُ إِلَّا أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ لَمْ تَطْلُعْ»

Translation

✧ We said to Hudhayfah: At what time did you take suhoor with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: "It was daytime, except that the sun had not yet risen."
