✧ I heard Umar say, "The Prophet ﷺ used to give me gifts, and I would say, 'Give it to someone who is poorer than me,' until one time he gave me wealth, and I said, 'Give it to someone who is poorer than me.' He said, 'Take it, keep it as your own wealth, and give charity from it. Whatever comes to you of this wealth without you aspiring for it or asking for it, take it; otherwise, do not let your soul pursue it.'"
