أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَرْبَعَةٌ يُبْغِضُهُمُ اللهُ الْبَيَّاعُ الْحَلَّافُ وَالْفَقِيرُ الْمُخْتَالُ وَالشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي وَالْإِمَامُ الْجَائِرُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثِقَةٌ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ تَغَيَّرَ فَمَنْ سَمِعَ مِنْهُ قَدِيمًا فَسَمَاعُهُ جَيِّدٌ وَمَنْ سَمِعَ مِنْهُ بَعْدَ الِاخْتِلَاطِ فَلَيْسُوا بِشَيْءٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are four whom Allah hates: the seller who swears oaths, the boastful poor person, the adulterous old man, and the unjust ruler.' Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: 'Arim Abu al-Nu'man is trustworthy, except that he changed; whoever heard from him early, his hearing is good, and whoever heard from him after he became confused, they are nothing.'
