✧ The Resurrection

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عُرَاةً حُفَاةً غُرْلًا وَأَوَّلُ الْخَلْقِ وَيُكْسَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا} [الأنبياء 104]

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection naked, barefoot, and uncircumcised, and the first of creation to be clothed will be Ibrahim.” Then he recited: “As We began the first creation, We shall restore it—a promise upon Us” [al-Anbiya' 104].
