✧ Riding after the funeral

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةِ ابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ أُتِيَ بِفَرَسٍ مَعْرُورَى فَرَكِبَهُ وَمَشَيْنَا مَعَهُ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out and prayed over the funeral of Ibn al-Dahdah. When he returned, a horse was brought to him already bridled, so he mounted it and we walked with him.
