أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ

أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ «رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِقَبْرٍ مُنْتَبِذٍ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفَّ أَصْحَابَهُ خَلْفَهُ» قِيلَ مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ

Translation

✧ Someone told me that he “saw the Prophet ﷺ pass by a solitary grave and pray over it, and his companions lined up behind him.” It was said: Who told you? He said: Ibn Abbas.
