✧ The Virtue of Whom a Hundred Prayers are Sent Upon

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ سَلَّامِ بْنِ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيعِ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ مَيِّتٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَبْلُغُونَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِائَةً يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ» قَالَ سَلَّامٌ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ شُعَيْبَ بْنَ الْحَبْحَابِ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “There is no deceased person over whom a group of Muslims reaching one hundred pray and intercede, except that their intercession is accepted for him.” Sallām said: I narrated it to Shuʿayb b. al-Ḥabḥāb, and he said: This is how Anas b. Mālik narrated it to me from the Prophet ﷺ.
