✧ The place of the passenger from the funeral

أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ وَاصِلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ الثَّقَفِيُّ وَأَخُوهُ الْمُغِيرَةُ جَمِيعًا عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The rider is behind the funeral, and the walker may be wherever he wishes around it, and the child may be prayed over."
