أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو

سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ أَتَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَبْرَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ وَقَدْ وُضِعَ فِي حُفْرَتِهِ فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِ «فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَأَلْبَسَهُ قَمِيصَهُ وَنَفَثَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِيقِهِ فَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ»

Translation

✧ He heard Jabir say: The Prophet ﷺ came to the grave of 'Abd Allah b. Ubayy after he had been placed in his pit. He stood over him, ordered that he be taken out, placed him on his knees, dressed him in his shirt, and blew on him from his saliva, and Allah knows best.
