أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عُمَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَخْرَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ وَأَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَا لَمَّا ثَقُلَ أَبُو مُوسَى أَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ تَصِيحُ قَالَ فَأَفَاقَ فَقَالَ

أَلَمْ أُخْبِرْكِ أَنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا بَرِئَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَا فَكَانَ يُحَدِّثُهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِمَّنْ حَلَقَ وَخَرَقَ وَسَلَقَ» قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو عُمَيْسٍ اسْمُهُ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَأَبُو صَخْرَةَ اسْمُهُ جَامِعُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ وَأَبُو مُوسَى اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ

✧ Did I not tell you that I am innocent of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared himself innocent of? He said: So he used to narrate to her that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I am innocent of the one who shaves, tears, and wails." Abu Abd al-Rahman said to us: Abu Umays—his name is Utbah b. Abd Allah; Abu Sakhra—his name is Jami b. Shaddad; Abu Musa—his name is Abd Allah b. Qays.
